1. Entry into the "Flickerfest On Extra Season 2" competition is open to entrants who vote for their favourite film of season 2 here www.flickerfestonextra.com.au as well as answer the 25 words or less question. It is the entrant’s responsibility to supply their correct address information. Only one entry per week per person is permitted.
2. The officers, management and employees (or immediate family of an officer, manager or employee) of The MOVIE NETWORK, AUSTAR, FOXTEL, OPTUS, SELECTV, NEIGHBORHOOD CABLE, TELSTRA, OMNILAB, THE SWISS GRAND HOTEL, THE BONDI TRATTORIA and FLiCKERFEST, their related corporations and associated agencies are not eligible to enter.
3. Competition begins on 16th April 2010 at 11pm and entries close at 12midnight EST on Wednesday June 2nd. (‘Completion Period’).
4. There will be winners in the competition. The weekly prizes will vary, but may include one of the following: DVD packs (value $60), Movie Tickets (value $35 per double pass), T-Shirts/DVD packs (value $60), Magazine subscriptions (value $40), Movie EXTRA packs (value $94). The value of this prizing will not exceed $100.00.
The major prize is the Bondi Luxury Weekend Package - 1 nights accommodation (for 2 people in an Ocean View room) at the Swiss Grand Resort and Spa in Bondi, parking, breakfast for 2, and Samsara Day Spa treatments up to the value of $240, Flickerfest T-shirt/DVD pack, Movie EXTRA prize pack and Dinner for 2 at The Bondi Trattoria up to the value of $100. The total value of the major prize is $1000.00. No travel is included in the prize. The winner is responsible for all travel costs and incidentals.
5. The weekly prizes will be awarded to the entrants with the most creative answer to the competition question as judged by Flickerfest The competition question is: “What makes a great short film?” The major prize will be drawn from the weekly winners and be based on the most creative answer provided over the period. All valid entries will be judged at the promoter’s premises on each Thursday after 12noon EST. the grand prize will be drawn at the conclusion of the season after 12md on Thursday the 3rd of June at the premises of Flickerfest.
6. Entry details are to be entered to the FLiCKERFEST ON EXTRA website and must include your name, and email address. Entrants must also provide their 25 words or less answer.
7. Entries made on The FLiCKERFEST ON EXTRA website will be limited to one entry per entrant. Entries are limited to two (2) per household. No responsibility will be taken for any late, ineligible or lost entries. Entries that are not genuine are incomplete or late will be declared void. Any person who submits multiple entries will be declared ineligible and all entries will be declared void. Entrants must enter their own details including their own name, answer and email address. Any entrant found to be not entering their own details will have their entry/entries declared not genuine and therefore declared void.
8. The prizewinners will also be notified by email. This is a game of skill and chance will play no part in determining the winners. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. All entrants agree to provide FLiCKERFEST or its authorised agents with identification and/or proof of age if selected as the winner of a prize or if reasonably requested by The FLiCKERFEST or its authorised agent.
10. No responsibility will be taken by The MOVIE NETWORK, AUSTAR, FOXTEL, OPTUS, NEIGHBORHOOD CABLE and TELSTRA, FLiCKERFEST, OMNILAB their related corporations and associated agencies for lost or late entries due to technical issues or any other reason.
11. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
12. All unclaimed prizes will be dealt with as prescribed by the law of the State or Territory of Australia in which the prizewinner resides. All prizes remain the property of The FLiCKERFEST until they are claimed by the prizewinners. If a prize remains unclaimed after 3 (three) months and either FLiCKERFEST has made reasonable efforts to locate the prize winner and has been unable to do so, or the prize winner has been located but has failed to claim the prize, FLiCKERFEST will apply to the Minister for directions as to disposal of the unclaimed prize.
13. All entries become the property of FLiCKERFEST and may be used for promotional purposes.
14. The MOVIE NETWORK and FLiCKERFEST shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize. Subject to foregoing, if The MOVIE NETWORK/ FLiCKERFEST is liable for any claim by the entrant, including a claim arising from The MOVIE NETWORKS/ FLiCKERFEST’S negligence, The MOVIE NETWORKS/F FLiCKERFEST’S liability for any such claim shall not exceed $1,000.00.
15. It is the entrant’s responsibility to inform FLiCKERFEST of their residential address, email address or phone number changes during the competition. Once the prizes have left the promoter’s premises, the promoter will not accept any responsibility for prizes lost, delayed or damaged in transit.
16. The MOVIE NETWORK/ FLiCKERFEST is not liable for the cancellation of all or any part of the prize, for any reason. The MOVIE NETWORK/FLICKERFEST reserves the right to change the prizes at any time if a prize becomes unavailable. The MOVIE NETWORK/ FLiCKERFEST is not liable for the repair or replacement of prizes, which are defective.
17. By accepting the terms and conditions and entering the competition the entrant consents to FLiCKERFEST and THE MOVIE NETWORK retaining and using the entrant’s personal information for the purposes of promoting and marketing Flickerfest and Movie Network channels and for the Flickerfest database.
18. Anyone found tampering with the entry process, or damaging the integrity of the promotion will be excluded from the competition and may have their registration to the www.flickerfestonextra.com.au website deleted. They may face permanent expulsion and be prohibited from re-registering on the website and therefore will not be permitted to enter any future promotions and competitions. The decision to expel such persons and prevent them from participating in future FLiCKERFEST ON EXTRA competitions is at the complete discretion of the promoter.
19. All movie tickets issued as prizing are subject to their own separate terms and conditions.
20. The MOVIE NETWORK means The MOVIE NETWORK Channels Pty Limited (ABN 72 089 135 740) of Level 6, 39-41 Chandos Street, St Leonards NSW 2065.
21. FLiCKERFEST means Flickerfest Pty Limited (ABN 59 084 773 400) of Bondi Pavilion, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach NSW 2026.
